ASB is so great because you not only get to go on meaningful service trips, but you also get the chance to meet some of the most amazing, down-to-Earth people on this campus!! One day I hope to travel to Africa and ride on a giraffe! :) |
Board Advisor: advisor@illinoisasb.orgDarcy RedmondHey there! I'm Darcy and I will be ASB's Student Advisor for the 2012-2013 school year. I'm a sophomore majoring in Gender and Women's Studies. I went on my first ASB trip during Winter Break 2012 for the AIDS Project in L.A. and absolutely fell in love with the organization: going on a trip with ASB is an incredible experience, one that everyone should do at least once in college. When I'm not with ASB, I can be found spending time with the NOW (National Organization for Women) student chapter on campus, scribbling away in a notebook, eating chocolate, lip-syncing with my earbuds in as I walk down the street, quoting moments in movies that no one else remembers, learning more about various social issues, or generally staring into space. |
